We live in turbulent times – during the past year, we had to experience an unimaginable return of war to Europe and
we don’t know how to proceed. We can only hope that we will win back the ideas of peace, togetherness, respect and
understanding – as we have been living it at Europaburg castle during the last five years.
With our “EYFON PeaceDays” we want to promote peace – bringing young people from different nations, background,
education and opinions together in order to talk about a common, peaceful and stable world. We want to give you the
opportunity to learn, to understand different views and to develop your attitude towards Europe’s goals and tasks.
Moreover we will have one day focussing on the Alps-Adriatic-Alliance, a region not only characterized by an
incomparable scenic and cultural diversity, but also the living space for around 5.5 million people who share a common
history, but above all common values.
If you are between 18 and 25 years old, citizen of Europe (EU +++), interested in meeting other young people, critically
discussing European topics and issues and willing to have a good leisure time, you are cordially invited to the Europaburg
castle in Neumarkt in der Steiermark / Austria. The participation with accommodation and program is free, you only
have to cover travel expenses to / from Neumarkt. Upon request, we provide scholarships covering those costs, too.
