More than 300 new projects approved

The Steering Committee of the Alps-Adriatic-Alliance (AAA) has met in Graz, capital of the presiding member Steiermark/Styria on June 15th 2023. In the course of this meeting 11 new projects were approved which makes up a total number of 304 projects since the first meeting of the Steering Committee in March 2014. The applications came from the Thematic Coordination Points (TCPs) on Art and Culture, Economy, Healthcare, Lifelong Learning, Rural Development and Ethnic Heritage as well as from the TCP on Tourism.

The current President of the Steering Committee is Styrian State Minister Werner Amon, who is not just responsible for European Affairs but also for education in his home region. He had every reason to be happy about the meeting, because the afternoon was dedicated to a networking meeting of representatives from educational institutions from all over the Alps-Adriatic area who met with the ambition to create a new basis for further projects.
