The Renaissance festival in Koprivnica was declared as Croatia´s top event for five years in a row. Supported by the AAA, it took place again from August 18th to 21st 2022 at the renaissance fortification of Koprivnica. According to the decision oft he Croatian National Tourist Bord, only eleven events in Croatia can receive the status of public recognition for the event of international character. The Renaissance festival was also declared „Tourism event of the year“ by the Croatian Tourist Bord, the Ministry of Tourism and the Croatian Chamber of economy, and it also gained a „Superbrands“ status. The historical and educational tourist event, based on historical facts, is the biggest spectacle of „live images“ from the past in Central Europe.
