Rikon is a unique international event and convention that is continuously held in Rijeka, Croatia, this year for the 25th time. The project is supported by the Alps Adriatic Alliance, Primorsko-goranska County, the City of Rijeka, and Ministry of Culture Republic of Croatia.
From October 7 to 9, at the Rijeka University Campus, Rikon will host domestic and foreign program guests, and offer more than 15 program elements. During the three days of the convention, we expect more than 1,000 visitors and 150 program participants.
The program of Rikon consists of educational content (lectures, presentations, panels, talks), an international conference of cultural managers (with partners from Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Slovakia, Belgium), fun and games content (games, competitions, quizzes, tournaments, LAPRs, trading card games, video game zone, board game zone), teen and children’s program (STEM workshops, theater plays, children’s choirs, careers in creative industries panels), a Cosplay competition, first ever Croatian SFX Make-up competition, movies and animated movies screenings and presentations, the literary award “Artefakt” ceremony, various creative workshops, artists exhibitions, live-stream of podcasts and gameplay, promotional and merchant stands, and much more.
